I have over 20 years of Professional touring and studio experience playing with artist such as Luke Bryan, Jessica Simpson, Dierks Bentley and many more. I have over 100 TV appearances including The Tonight’s Show, American Idol, The American Music Awards, The Voice, the CMA and ACM Awards and the list goes on. I write, record and produce music as well.

Music has been my life ever since I was a kid. I started on violin at 5, cello at 6, guitar at 10 (which is when I discovered rock music) and in my teenage years I picked up mandolin and began playing fiddle after my introduction to bluegrass. I attended Middle Tennessee State University where I studied Music Theory and Composition with a focus on guitar.

I taught guitar and mandolin lessons during college and even as I embarked on my own profession performing career, I continued to teach. My style of teaching involves learning songs that you want to learn and teaching you all of the necessary techniques and theory in the process that you’ll need to be successful. I love watching students grow on their instrument and even more so, I love watching people enjoying themselves while playing.
