Growing up I was always ok with understanding math concepts up until basic Geometry. Then when it came to Algebra 2 and Trigonometry functions, things didn't come as easy anymore. Working with tutors at the High School in the AVID Program, helped me build the self confidence necessary to take on all types of Math problems. Using the same skills, I was able to help my students learn to enjoy the mathematical concepts and become stronger students. As they were able to answer the questions promptly due to their better understanding of the basic concepts.
