I am a professional pianist, trombonist and music teacher. I studied at Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts and The Juilliard School. Students can expect to improve week to week in their piano performance technique. Every student is different and has different goals. I teach in a way that honors the goal of the student (and parents) while creating a stress-free environment. Learning to play piano should be fun and enjoyable, not a chore. I teach piano students of all different ages and experience levels. I studied classical piano and popular. I can teach students to read music and pursue classical excellence, to learn how to play contemporary music using chord sheets, or both depending on the goals and preference of the student. As a professional musician, I have served as pianist and musical director for several NYC theatre companies. I have been a guest performer for Norwegian Cruise Line and given solo performances at New York City's prestigious Steinway Hall. All lesson books and music are included in the cost of your lessons with me.
