Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) - Orchestral Conducting
Learn conducting fundamentals from an experienced pro.
As an Orchestral conductor, I served as Music Director of the University of Texas University Orchestra and enrolled in several conducting competitions. In our lesson, I will lead you to understand the meaning of the score and explore the music's intention. Practically, this lesson including conducting technique, interpretation, score study, analysis, rehearsal technique, stage deportment, and musician interaction. All students receive equal opportunity in a completely transparent organization.
I strongly encourage instrumental players to learn how to conduct. It will not only give you the power to teach young ensembles, also enhance your ability to analyze the pieces you're playing. Please shoot me a message if you are currently interested in Musical Conducting.
