I have been playing cello for 13 years and have my BMA in cello performance. Lessons with me are dynamic, morphing and changing to fit the student. I will choose music that appropriately challenges you, and we will work on each piece until we are both satisfied. Hi there! My name is Kayla, and I am a cellist and cello teacher with a passion for teaching. My goal is to foster a love and skill for music in as many people as possible! I have been teaching since 2011 and I have experience teaching all ages. My technique is personalized to the individual; I will try a few different things and really figure out what works for you. I have a BMA in music performance from Northern Illinois University. Some awards I have attained are: NIU Chamber Competition Winner 2014, Protege Philharmonic Concerto Competition Runner-Up.
