My main encouragement is to engage the students in many different aspects of music: listening, reading, and composing.
I also try my best to find music the student wants to play rather than force him/her to play 'just classical' or 'just pop'. I try to encourage the student to explore many different music and I will arrange music for my students so he/her can play the music he/she would like to play.

Hello! My name is Ms. Kaye and I am here to help you with learning music. I have been playing piano and violin since the age of 8. I was very involved in music since elementary school as being in honors orchestras and choirs throughout high school. I attended GMU studying music studying under Dr. John Healey and also studied under Dr. Linda Monson, Dr. Anna Balakerskia, and Dr. Joanne Haroutounian.
