I love to sing and to help others find their own unique voice and passion in music. I graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor's in Vocal Music and recently obtained my Master's in Music Education from the University of Dayton. I have been singing from grade school and have experience in both professional and non-professional choirs. I have been a music teacher and director for 10+ years and love what I do. *** Lesson Details *** Lessons with me involve hard work, dedication, and lots of fun! We will focus on your goals as a musician and what you want to get out of taking lessons. I can help students learn how to read music, trumpet and piano technique, how to breathe for singing, and learn a variety of techniques from classical Italian arias to the Broadway stage. We will work from a variety of sources, keeping your goals in mind always. Lessons are a great place to unwind and let yourself go and I hope to help you do just that. *** Studio Equipment *** Separate office, seating for parents. See my picture section for where you'll be singing in my home. *** Travel Equipment *** I am happy to come to you, but will need you to have a piano or keyboard for voice or piano lessons. *** Specialties *** I specialize in classical voice lessons, but have taught a variety of styles including Gospel, Broadway, and Speaking/Drama. While voice is my main specialty, I am also certified to teach beginning to intermediate trumpet and piano.
