Kat is great! We focus a lot on posture, air flow and creating the sound with the mouth. I feel like I've already learned a lot and I've only had a few lessons!

This was not my daughter's first lesson with Katherine. My daughter took lessons from Katherine a few months ago, and I stayed a couple of times. Katherine is very competent in knowing what skills my daughter needed to work on, and she is so wonderful with children!

Katherine was so helpful with finding the right vocal exercises to match what my daughter needed for improvement. She also easily picked out what my daughter needed to work on and focused on that. Katherine is an excellent teacher who is very skilled at pinpointing problems and skilled at helping to improve.

I had fun doing singing lessons but could not continue at
this time due to financial reasons. I would come back again in the future.

This is based on one lesson. The low rating is about the location.
Kat is knowkageanle, warm, kind - the kind of teacher I'd like to have.
Unfortunately the location isn't. Would happily continue in a different location.

I had reservations about singing lessons. I really wanted to be able to sing with more confidence. Not the American idol bloopers type of confidence but an I have a voice worth listening to kind of confidence. During my first lesson Katherine showed me techniques and exercises to try. I found myself becoming more comfortable with using my voice. It was a pleasant surprise since I was a bit skeptical about the outcome. I'm looking forward to my next lesson she is a fantastic teacher.

Katherine is a very good singing instructor. It is very clear she is knowledgeable and has an affinity for singing. I have seen much quicker improvements in my daughters singing in a much shorter time than with any other teacher. My daughter is very happy to have found her!

Katherine went out of her way to make me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the lesson and that meant the world to me. Especially because a big part of my problem is feeling self-conscious and having a "can't do that" attitude. She's working on turning that around. I enjoyed my first lesson and would recommend her highly.

Katherine was a wonderful instructor for my 7 year old little girl. She is very patient and understanding. I appreciate how positive she is and the uplifting encouragement she provided my daughter. Once school starts back in the fall, we hope to see Katherine again for more lessons. I can't say enough about how great she is and I'm so glad we chose her. You will not be disappointed if you choose her!

I really enjoyed taking lessons from Kat. She's a fun teacher who knows her stuff. She explained to me the mechanics of singing in a way that I could easily understand. She was great at pinpointing the exact areas that I needed to work on and gave me specific directions to enhance my abilities. She made me feel very comfortable and helped me get over my fear of singing in front of others. I look forward to more lessons with Kat in the future.

Kat works very well with little ones. She was very relaxed from the very first visit which definitely made it even easier on my 5 y/o daughter. During our last lesson my daughter had the case of the "sillies". Kat's tone remained the same & never once showed any signs of frustration. She was and is absolutely wonderful with her! Kat has an amazing voice & my daughter cant stop talking about her & cant wait for her lessons. We definitely made the perfect choice!

Excellent Voice Teacher for My 8 Year Old Daughter

Kat has been an excellent voice instructor for my 8 year old daughter. She is kind and patient, yet has a buoyant energy that engages my daughter in a way the some teachers cannot. The techniques and skills she is imparting to my daughter are invaluable. I highly recommend Kat for anyone (of any age too!) looking for high quality voice lessons.
