Singing has always been a huge part of my life and what brought be confidence as a child. Through music I hope to bring out the same passion and confidence in my students! I began teaching independently in 2016, in 2018 I worked as a voice teacher on faculty at Vero Voce School of the Performing Arts, and now I have a studio based in Brooklyn, NY (currently only accepting online student, as a result of Covid-19, stay safe!). I am an active musical theatre performer, represented by seven stars talent, in NYC. While also pursuing a masters degree in Vocal Performance at the prestigious Mannes School of Music. In 2019, I graduated from Oklahoma City University (one of playbill.com's most represented schools on Broadway) with a double major in musical theatre and vocal performance. Go Stars! I have performed professionally in Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, West Virginia, and New York. Most of my upcoming engagements have been canceled due to Covid-19, however, you may hear me in the background of the upcoming Netflix series, The Queen's Gambit! In 2017, I placed first in the nation in the Musical Theatre College NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Competition. In 2018, I placed 2nd in the college classical Oklahoma State NATS competition. I was a national finalist in the musical theatre Hal lenard competition in 2015, as well as, an Illinois High School Musical Theatre Award finalist. My students have also gone on to place in their own NATS' competitions, as well as, local competitions. My studio is a warm environment that encourages students to be their best. You will learn the foundation of breath support, phonation, and healthy vocal techniques. I am all about belting a broadway tune or diving into the nuance of a classical aria. It regularly inducts thousands of academically excellent students who share its mission of promoting education and providing community service to their colleges and communities. The Society has made a major impact all across America. In recent years, The Gamma Beta Phi Society has collected thousands of books for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, six thousand pairs of shoes for citizens of Iraq, collected thousands of hats for the Heavenly Hats Foundation, thousands of letters to the service men and woman onboard the USS Kitty Hawk, and bought an Ark for Heifer International.
