Classical Voice with Kat H.

Kat Holland is an independent singer/songwriter that has been singing since she was a child herself. Holland has taken up vocal coaching in the last two years and has seen great success and amazing strides in all of her students. When working with Kat you will be focusing on “speech level singing”, a technique that was taught to her by Katie Riggs, daughter of Seth Riggs, who was the vocal coach for Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and more. Kat also earned a degree in songwriting and professional music studies from Berklee School of Music. Kat loves working with any and all ages, genders, and skill levels when it comes to teaching. She is very friendly and has a great talent at making her student feel comfortable and calm during the lesson. She understands that for many of her students it can feel very unnatural to sing in front of someone at first, so she has become very skilled at helping her students get over that hurdle. When working with kat you’ll start with vocal warmups and techniques, and then you’ll move on to singing a cover-song of your choice!
