Woodland Park Wind Symphony

The Woodland Park Wind Symphony (www.woodlandparkwindsymphony.com) is conducted by Mr. Craig Harms. WPWS is located in Woodland Park, CO, a small town of about 8,000 people. It is 70+ members strong. In 2022, we were selected to perform at the ACB Convention (Association of Concert Bands) in Sante Fe, NM.

Chabot College Wind Symphony

The Chabot College Wind Symphony is an audition only group which uses a rotating clarinet section (change parts on every piece) and is conducted by Mr. Timothy Harris. The Chabot College Wind Symphony is located in Hayward, CA.

San Jose Wind Symphony

The San Jose Wind Symphony (www.sjws.org) under the direction of Dr. Edward C. Harris, is an audition only, adult only, wind symphony. In 2009, we auditioned and were selected to perform at the Midwest Clinic in 2009, one of the few Non-University, Adult groups to recieve this honor. We were also selected to perform at WASBE (World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles) in 2015. The SJWS is located in San Jose, CA. Check them out on YouTube!

Ohlone Wind Orchestra

The Ohlone Wind Orchestra is an audition only, adult Wind Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Phil Zahorsky and after his death, Mr. Tony Clements. I played there for about 10 years but can't remember the exact dates! The OWO is located in Fremont, CA.

The International Clarinet Association is a community of clarinetists and clarinet enthusiasts that supports projects that will benefit clarinet performance; provides opportunities for the exchange of ideas, materials, and information among its members; fosters the composition, publication, recording, and distribution of music for the clarinet; encourages the research and manufacture of a more definitive clarinet; avoids commercialism in any form while encouraging communication and cooperation among clarinetists and the music industry; and encourages and promotes the performance and teaching of a wide variety of repertoire for the clarinet.

Chamber Music America (CMA) is an American non-profit organization that provides small ensemble professionals with access to a variety of professional development, networking, and funding resources. CMA's regular initiatives include grants, awards, and commissioning programs for ensembles and presenters, a national conference held annually in New York City, and the publication of Chamber Music magazine.
