Violin with Kaitlynn M.

Hello students! I am so excited you are considering starting the violin or interested in continuing your studies! I am a recent graduate of Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA; there I got my bachelors in both music and Spanish. At Cornell I participated in symphonic orchestra all four years and was in the top 3 chairs of the first violin section. I also have experience with chamber music including playing in a string quartet that toured the Iowa area. I am a Denver native that just moved to the area and am trying to build my studio. In Colorado I taught private and group lessons with students of all ages and beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Although I am classically trained, I also have played/ taught rock, bluegrass, fiddle and "pop" music. If you take lessons with me, we will address what specific skills you would like to learn/ improve, while polishing things like technique and positioning.
