The double bass is the largest and most daunting instrument in the orchestra, the sheer size can make learning the double bass seem impossible. Through my teaching I break it down step by step and teach my students how to conquer this beautiful instrument. The double bass is the foundation of the orchestra, setting the pitch and rhythm of the entire ensemble. With my lessons I will teach you proper left hand and right hand technique, as well as how to practice on your own, something teachers often overlook. I want my students to be able to problem solve on their own and learn to become their own teacher outside of the lesson so that their growth is limitless!
