By the age of 2, James had already developed a passion for music and a desire to play the drums. Over the years he has become one of the most sought after drummers in the city of Detroit. He is passionately admired by the crowd which has grown to respect him as an entrepreneur and member of the band. James number one supporter has always been his father. His dad traveled with him to various venues and ensured he would gain the skills and knowledge as he pursued his educational career. James experienced the “Golden Opportunity” of being the first drummer at the Detroit School of Performing Arts. He has also traveled on a 16 day tour to Europe where he visited Austria, France, Switzerland and Germany. As an educator and mentor James; has committed his time to training young students and helping them cultivate their skills. He enjoys implementing various programs to allow students to reach their full potential.
