Swimming with Julian O.

Hello, my name is Julian Ortega. I am a sophomore at Clark University, and Co-captain of the Clark University swim team. I learned how to swim when I was two years old and since then it has always been a part of my life. I've been a competitive swimmer since fifth grade and a licensed lifeguard since 2013. I've been teaching lessons for 2 years, and what started out as a job has turned into a mission. As a lifeguard I notice that people come to the pool with little to no experience end up struggling and in most cases for their lives. My mission is to not only teach people how to swim but also to swim the distance. Whether it's trying to learn the basics or improving skills on a competitive level I can make it happen.
