Providing individualized interventions to students from K – 8th grade based on the DMDL music curriculum, which is geared towards teaching common core standards in Math and Reading. • Creating individualized lesson plans for 1st through 8th grade, which cater to all the students learning styles to enhance their performance in Math and English. • Collaborating with teachers to create lesson plans that cater to the needs of the students and target specific skills that each students needs to strengthen. • Created a customized summer arts curriculum for K – 7th grade students which connected the arts to math and reading.

American Dance Festival

• Accompanied professional musicians and improvised live music for Ballet, Modern and African dance classes during the 3- week and 6-week schools. • Accompanied in dance performances for MFA students, the Faculty at ADF, and ADF musicians in their live performances. • Experience in playing for Afro-Modern Technique with Michelle Gibson and assisted Vladimir Espinosa and Michelle Gibson in a community outreach project for kids for five weeks.

Denison University - Dance Department

• Performed for African/Disaporan Dance classes for Stafford Berry Jr. and Contemporary/Modern/Postmodern Dance classes for Sandra Mathern-Smith. • Assisted Terrence Karn for a year and John Osburn for 3 years with improvising live music for dance classes and performances and facilitate drumming workshops. • Performed in the absence of Terrence Karn and John Osburn on my own and with other musicians.
