I've held my own private piano studio for 5 years, teaching between 8-15 students a week (depending on the season) while additionally teaching group music production classes at the Boys & Girls Club in town to students ranging from 9-18 years old. In school I took an extensive amount of piano pedagogy and music theory classes, so I am very familiar and adept at using a variety of piano method books and feel comfortable adapting my teaching style to the individual needs or interests of a student, while also providing them with a fundamentally well-rounded education.
