I am a third year cello performance major and jazz minor (bass guitar) at the University of Georgia. I have been playing classical cello for over eleven years and bass for two.
I am prepared to teach students of any age and give them the tools and adaptability to perform in a variety of ensembles, or simply play music on their own for the joy of playing! I want to encourage students to be innovative and creative while suppling them with basic music theory and ear training that they can implement into their practice and observe in their repertoire.

Excellent instructor with a vast repertoire of songs he is already comfortable with.
has been more than patient with my adhd since it takes me a while to learn new things. 5 stars all around.
This was my first cello lesson ever, and Jordi really helped get my grounding. I can’t wait to take more lessons with him, and advance in my cello playing! Thanks Jordi!

I am experienced in playing bass in a variety of genres and ensembles (i.e. jazz, bluegrass, jam/rock, country, pop). My primary focus is to give students a strong foundation in rhythm, harmony, and familiarity with the instrument. I want to encourage innovation and creativity in each of my students so they can feel comfortable approaching any musical opportunity or setting.
