I received my education at the University of Wisconsin, majoring in Jazz Guitar. I've studied with some of the best guitarists in the Midwest, and have performed live and in recording studios all across the country in a variety of styles (Rock, Metal, Bluegrass, Jazz, Classical, Country). I've performed internationally, and my playing has been featured on several prime time television shows. Currently, I make my living as the guitarist for international touring artist Jasmine Cain. I've always had a love of music, and it’s a passion that I try to instill in all of my students!
Through focus on note reading, chords, improvisation, and technique, I try to give my students tools that they can take with them throughout their musical journey, whether playing music for fun or professionally!
*** Lesson Details ***
I like to be laid back and very individual with my approach. I always introduce a curriculum designed to teach basic chords, note reading, and basic theory, but I also understand that each student has a particular set of interests, and I want to inspire them to follow those interests. Whether it's Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, or Classical, I want to give my students the tools and understanding that they need to excel at the music that drives them.
*** Travel Equipment ***
I expect my students to have everything that they need to practice the materials that I give them, including an instrument, amplifier and tuner if necessary, and a music stand. I provide all lesson materials.
*** Specialties ***
I specialize in rock, country, metal, blues, and jazz with an emphasis on theory and technique.

Jazz Guitar Performance from University Of Wisconsin - Milwaukee
Jordan was very helpful right from the start. He listened to me on where I am at and where I want to be. He showed me a few things that we will work towards and then helped me understand my instrument much better. Gave me some fun new things to practice before the next lesson. If you're looking for a lesson that is interactive and fun I recommend Jordan and the online thing is supper easy and handy. I don't think it could have gone any better. The lesson was 45 minutes and it felt like 10.Show More
Jordan is excellent & very patient.
Jordan is a fantastic teacher! He expertly and patiently guided my young son from essentially 0 to reading notes and playing them on the guitar in about half an hour. He is clearly an experienced musician who loves to teach. We are looking forward to the next lesson.Show More

My daughter had a great first lesson with Jordan. She really liked his teaching style, how he taught her step by step. She is looking forward to next week!
Our first lesson went great! Jordan was fun and professional. My son was relaxed and at ease with him, and he looks forward to lesson number 2! He also enjoyed the rocking solo performance Jordan did!
Jordan has been a great teacher for us, and the girls have really rapidly progressed over the couple of months we have been taking lessons with him. We would definitely recommend him as a teacher.
Jordan is a great teacher! I really enjoyed how flexible he was with our busy schedule. Jordan was also very patient with my daughter which put my mind at ease. We would love to take more lessons with Jordan but he is moving out of our area. I highly recommend Jordan for others. Thank you!Show More
I sure was very happy with Jordan. Jordan is an awesome teacher! He was on time and had a great attitude.
My Name is Hilarie and I'm 49 years old and I took a 40 year hiatus from playing the Piano. I can tell you that my skill level is that of a beginner with a mind set of at least intermediate . I have completed my 7th week with Jordan as my teacher. He has been exceptional in his patience, professionalism and most of all encouragement! Our lessons are well rounded and he helps me to focus on the fundamentals I need to achieve my goals . Very respectful and polite. I highly recommend Jordan to all who wish for musical instruction. And I must add that he is very cute/handsome! :)Show More
All four of my children have taken lessons with Jordan, in piano and acoustic guitar. Jordan has a natural way with children, and adapts his style and lessons to the individual needs of each child. Jordan's musical gifts, and his gift of relating to and teaching, children makes him and excellent teacher. I recommend him whole-heartedly.Show More
I have played in bands, recorded music, and taken a few lessons with Jordan in the past. He is without a doubt, one of the most gifted musicians I have ever had the pleasure to work with. In addition, he is a very patient and attentive teacher and caters his teaching to suit the needs/abilities of the student. I highly recommend Jordan for lessons on multiple instruments, you won't be disappointed.Show More
