Students will experience beginning lessons that are fun and will learn piano efficiently and performance quality. Because I'm a jazz musician I teach piano with fun styles and students will learn piano well and have fun.

Been teaching for 7 years and playing piano for 40 years.  I have a music degree and also a jazz musician.   I teach fun lessons to children and also to adults.  Teach chord charting and music theory and ear training.  Teach piano techniques and when needed improvisational skills.

I've been taking lessons for 7 months now -- I am always excited to have a new lesson and Jonathan is a great teacher!!!  If I was looking for a new teacher I'd choose him in a hot minute.  Thank you so much for opening my world to music.  BTW I'm a retired 65 year old male - Jonathan also taught my 7 year old great nephew and was wonderful with him.  Unfortunately his attention span was that of a gnat and we'll try again in a few months.  Right now he's more interested in catching snakes in the backyard than practicing -- and the bar was very low on what was being required.  (15 mins a day)  I'd say "Did you practice?" "I think I practiced."  "Well either you did or you didn't" "I think I probably practiced."  Love him
