Major/Minor Scales, Arpeggios, and Etudes are some of the essentials I cover in learning the cello Musical Concepts: music theory, proper bow technique, proper left hand technique, phrasing, rhythm Lesson Overview: Generally, lessons consist of a warm up with scale-arpeggio and warm-up exercise. After a warm-up, my students' focus on a specific piece of repertoire that pin-points a certain technique . Once I think the student has progressed through and mastered a specific piece to their level, we move on to more challenging repertoire learning new technical concepts and ideas. Lessons are a great way to help you progress much faster at the cello!
