Great Experience. On time, polite and good teacher. My son liked him. He is a keeper.
He was relatable to my 10 year old and thouroughly covered several essential techniques and excercises to practice.
I could hear a difference in my son's playing within the first lesson. The lesson just ended and my son is already looking forward to lesson two, thanks to Jonny's combination of expertise, enthusiasm, patience and encouragement.
A wonderful teacher. I only had a few lessons from him before I had to move, but they were excellent and I was thoroughly impressed. Great with kids too; he taught a young girl lessons right before mine. Patient, kind, knowledgeable.. all the best qualities!Show More
Jonny is an excellent teacher because of his own skill, experience, and prowess on the cello. He is patient with his students, but he also has high expectations that motivate his students to work hard. What sets him apart from other teachers is that he is also fun and engaging, with a dynamic personality. Jonny has worked with some of the area's finest cellists and has performed in many different capacities. This gives him a broader background for more well-rounded instruction. I would recommend Jonny as a cello teacher to anyone!Show More
His experience shows in the quality of his lessons. He really knows what he is doing and is a great teacher!
My experience with Jonny was a very enriching one! Not only does he simply and patiently explain technique and other musical elements, but he effectively explains the reason for the different techniques and musical elements. This not only helps the learner master a piece of music, but also molds the learner into a more competent musician. I highly recommend Jonny for anyone seeking music to enrich their lives!Show More
I was really impressed with Jonny's musicality and ability to transfer knowledge to my young son. He is a fine teacher.
Great technique with young students. Very patient and you will see results.
