Hi I’m Jonas! I live to make music. I’m 38 and I’ve been a professional touring musician since I was 13. I have 15 yrs teaching experience. I’ve been a record producer/sound engineer/studio owner for 20 yrs. I teach right out of my studio recently relocated to downtown bastrop where I live. I still produce bands and artist constantly and compose film scores/tv jingles. I taught at The Austin school of music for 10 yrs. I won an award from the Chronicle in 2014 for “best secret ingredient” for my work with young rock bands like Residual Kid who found some success when signed to Sire records and my production work for artist like Aaron Behrens of Ghostland Observatory and Irish music legend BP Fallon. What I really enjoy is sharing my obsession with music with those are interested. I love to share the joy and purpose I’ve gotten from music. I want my students to get that feeling of accomplishment when the play that first song all they way through !
