Blues Guitar with John M.

I'm currently taking on students in the Alexandria/Springfield area on Mondays and mornings/early afternoon Fridays. I'm also available during mornings/early afternoon all other weekdays near my home in Herndon. I love to teach music and I find so much in joy in seeing my students develop their skills! I'm a full time guitarist/musician with twenty years experience in teaching private lessons. I also perform regularly as the guitarist of the DC Transit Band, a nine-piece group that performs at weddings and special events across the DC/Baltimore area. I've performed at notable local venues including 9:30 Club, Kennedy Center, and State Theatre. I specialize in contemporary music (pop, rock, blues, and country) and can teach jazz and classical to the intermediate level. I teach most days through Music and Arts Center, the nation's largest lesson provider. My students vary in age from 6 to 82 and range from beginner to advanced.
