Country Guitar with Joe K.

Joe Krzyzewki grew up in New York’s Hudson Valley and was inspired by local legends Pete Seeger and Levon Helm to become a musician. He has spent his twenties playing numerous venues, restaurants and private events in every corner of the east coast. Joe attended Purchase College. Some performing highlights include opening for luminaries like Jackson Browne and Spin Doctors, a self produced EP, and a GRAMMY credit for his guitar and vocal contributions to Pete Seeger’s Rivertown Kids Album. Joe has been teaching kids of all ages for the past ten years. He has worked in numerous music schools, school districts and summer programs in Westchester and Putnam. He became inspired to teach in order to keep important musical traditions alive in the community. He was lucky enough to have a musician father and grow up in a musical place and wants to share that experience with as many students as possible. He specializes in guitar with an emphasis on performance and accompaniment, and also teaches Uke, Bass, Mandolin, and Piano.
