    About Joe G.

    Joe Galyon has earned acclaim performing as soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States. Dan Tucker of the Chicago Tribune remarked that Galyon performs with “power and technical brilliance.” He made his first international appearance at London’s historic St. Martin-in-the-Fields as a member of the piano-duo, Daly & Galyon. The award-winning duo has also appeared in the American Music Festival at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., on the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series in Chicago, Illinois, and at numerous universities and colleges. As an organist, he has performed at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California, John Wesley Chapel in London, and with the Cincinnati Community Orchestra. Dr. Galyon studied at Samford University, the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. His teaching career spans nearly 30 years and includes students at the beginning stages of study through collegiate-level postiions. In addition to operating a private studio, Dr. Galyon has served as Adjunct Professor of Keyboard at Northern Kentucky University and Director of Music and Organist at Church of the Saviour United Methodist. Dr. Galyon is a published musicians with arrangements for solo piano and organ as well as handbell choirs.
