I have taught guitar, piano, other instruments, and theory for fifteen years. My goal is always to tailor lessons to students, using both the music that most interest you and my large repertoire of pieces to create a lesson plan that works for you or your child. I make strong efforts to keep my sessions fun, but they always have a focused goal; dedicated students should see consistent results!

Joe studied at the Aaron Copland School of Music of Queens College, where he received his BA in Music. He has performed on tour with the Queens College Choir and the school's Guitar Ensemble under director Bill Anderson. Joe has taught at multiple respected establishments, including the Cadenza Music Center and Belle Arti Center for the Arts (both based in Queens, NY). He has also performed guitar and piano both solo and with live bands, spanning genres like rock, blues, reggae, R&B, and spiritual.
