The mission of the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA), an affiliate of Music Teachers National Association, is to advance the value of music study and music making in society and to support the professionalism of music teachers.

TMTA is a nonprofit educational organization. Founded in 1886, it is dedicated to the promotion of high quality individual and group music instruction. Its membership includes over two thousand teachers in sixty-five local organizations. All activities of the association are educational and promote the art of music.

I graduated from a well-known music school called Oberlin Conservatory, studied with the director of piano department Prof. Robert Shannon. Later I received my piano performance Master degree in University of Houston, studied with one of the best teacher in Houston — Prof. Nancy Weems. I received full scholarship throughout my career. 

I have been teaching piano for 4 years, I’m very good at improving techniques and sight reading skills, many of my students had huge improvement after a few lessons. There is no technical problem that I can’t tackle. I tend to go over books really fast so that you can learn much more in a short period of time, instead of wasting time on the same kind of material, I will make sure you learn some new stuff every week.

I’m a professional pianist, I got my Bachelor degree in piano performance in one of the best music schools—Oberlin Conservatory, at the mean time receiving four year scholarships. Then finished my Master degree in Moore’s school of music, study with the well known piano teacher— Prof. Nancy Weems.
