I try my best to adapt my teaching style to each individual student. Some students fair better with practical, hands-on learning while others may excel by learning visually. Regardless I take the musical preferences and learning styles of each student and combine methods to best communicate the lesson that day and continue to strongly encourage students to set aside personal time each day for practice. Music is supposed to be a fun and fulfilling experience and I love watching my students grow!

My name is Jinette Garcia and I have been an instrumentalist for over 10 years. My primary instrument is guitar but I have prior experience in teaching not only guitar, but ukulele and beginning drums. In addition, my experience is supplemented by a degree in music/music education as well as a great passion for music that drives me as an instructor to shape my teaching style to fit each unique student's needs so that they may get the most out of their music lessons.
