• Provide assistance with selecting and developing music ministry’s repertoire which includes but not limited to praise and worship songs, gospel songs, contemporary Christian songs, hymns, anthems, and melodies • Conduct all choir and praise team rehearsals in the absence of the music director or as assigned • Direct the choir during services and special performances as needed by the music director • Provide vocal training, vocal education, and vocal health tips to choir and praise team • Attend professional development music workshops and gospel conferences yearly • Coordinate rehearsals and provide music to musicians in order to achieve a unified sound • Assist with planning Christmas and Easter programs as well as lead Praise and Worship for services and special occasions • Confer with the Pastor, Music Director and church leaders on music ministry needs and direction

Inner City on Stage Inc,

Conducts the operations of the musical portion of the production  Responsible for the instrumental content of the production  Responsible for the vocal content of the production  Plans extensively with Play Director and Choreographer  Provides information requested by Public Relations  Directs the functioning and performance of all musicians  Responsible for the organization of instrumental rehearsals  Responsible for being well prepared for all aspects of directing vocal and instrumental music  Cooperates with production choreographer  Creates a calendar of rehearsal dates and times prior to start of rehearsing musicians  Assigns and distributes sheet music and parts, both vocal and instrument  Participates in all performances  Wears performance attire  Arrives at time determined by Stage Manager  Collaborates with Stage Manager on cues  Directs all musicians during all performnces, insures the smooth functioning of personnel and production musicians
