I initially started lessons with Jessica in CA. When I moved to the other side of the country four years ago, we decided to try ways to continue online. After some trial and error, I’m so glad we stuck with it. It’s worked out beautifully even before “Social Distance” was a thing!

Jessica is not only a very talented musician but a great teacher! Her instruction was clear and understandable and she seemed dedicated to her students. I was an adult student and had always wanted to learn to play the violin. I took lesson for three years until my schedule became too busy. I would definitely recommend her to potential students of all ages.

Jessica's mix of outstanding skill as a professional musician, her effective read of how different personality types approach music, and her distinct ability to transfer skill and understanding through a teaching mentorship - were THE factors that brought me back to the violin after a hiatus brought about by a poor match between me and a previous teacher. Whether music theory or technique, Jessica's teaching helped me through barrier after barrier. I am so fortunate to have found her.
