My name is Jay and music is my passion. I'm a self-taught musician that has been learning and  playing for over 15 years. During my ever evolving experience with guitars and music in general I've had the pleasure of playing music with and for many fantastic people in a number of cities and even a few countries.  
I hope to share my passion for the instrument with others and to empower my students with the needed skills to achieve results. 

With an emphasis on a solid technical foundation and only very basic music theory you can be playing all over the neck faster than you might think.

Offering one hour lessons beginner-intermediate. Acoustic as well as
electric.

I decided to start teaching lessons to share my love for music with others.  I've been giving lessons to family and friends for a few years and now hope to help others improve their playing ability.  I tend to focus on developing fundamentals and technique over the fretboard.

My course is a great option for those both just starting their journey with the instrument as well as those that know a decent amount of songs and chords and are ready to start developing the tools needed to broaden their ability to play more complex melodies.
