I have been studying music for over 15 years in a variety of settings from private lessons to collegiate classes. I have a very solid understanding of the education process and the importance of having a confident teacher. I have been playing guitar for 10 years and gigging professionally for the past 5 years. I have a strong sense of what musical concepts make the guitar an extremely accessible instrument and can help beginner to intermediate players quickly develop their skills and find the inspiration to make their own unique music. Whether you just want to learn how to play enough chords to sing your favorite song or you want to learn improvisational concepts to help you make your own music on the spot, finding someone who has walked that road ahead of you is the quickest way to finding your own path. I am personally most interested in blues, jazz, rock, and funk, however, I can help students learn the skills to pursuit whatever styles they are most interested in themselves.
