Work closely with experienced instructors. In addition to developing close working relationships with faculty mentors, co-teach classes, create lesson plans, and lead lessons. I teach a music fundamentals course, along with a music history course.

Responsible for secretarial and administrative support to the Administrative Aide. Maintained the student database and student degree check sheet; screened and directed phone calls and visitors; handled incoming and outgoing mail; prepared documents; and maintained office equipment.

Acted as temporary office manager. Supported 8 full-time faculty, as well as 25 part-time faculty, staff and the Chair of the Department. Tracked enrollment in applied music by instrument. Prepared contracts for part-time faculty. Provided a variety of word processed documents. Coordinated room availability and made room reservations.

Provided support for child with autism in her home and community, taught various skills including: social interaction, communication, fine motor, gross motor, life skills, peer interactions, self-care, and money skills. Provided support for family dynamic. Provided support at summer camp.

City of Augusta School Department

Assumed the responsibilities for instructing classes in teachers’ absence. Maintained, as fully as possible, the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned. Planned activities appropriate for grade level and subject when necessary. Maintained appropriate records including student attendance, checked test papers, student assignments for homework, projects and the necessary clerical work required to maintain student records for a teacher who is absent.

Since 1970, The International Horn Society (IHS) has been an organization of people from around the world drawn together with a mutual interest in the horn. We are dedicated to the performance, teaching, composition, research, preservation, and promotion of the horn as a musical instrument.

As the grassroots arm of the women’s movement, the National Organization for Women is dedicated to its multi-issue and multi-strategy approach to women’s rights, and is the largest organization of feminist grassroots activists in the United States. NOW has hundreds of chapters and hundreds of thousands of members and activists in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Since our founding in 1966, NOW’s purpose is to take action through intersectional grassroots activism to promote feminist ideals, lead societal change, eliminate discrimination, and achieve and protect the equal rights of all women and girls in all aspects of social, political, and economic life.
