I have a bachelors of science degree in k-12 music education from Ball State University and a Masters of Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have enjoyed teaching elementary general music, youth choirs, band and orchestra for 20 years. I love teaching private lessons and watching my students grow musically. I especially enjoy teaching elementary age students and beginners of any age. I am a teacher who believes first and foremost that music should be enjoyed! The more a student enjoys their music the greater their long term success! I believe students should be able to work with the styles and genres of music they like. I can't wait to help you or your child find their love and passion for music!+ Read More

I teach 600 delightful kids each week. I teach general music kindergarten through fourth grade. I also co direct beginning orchestra and beginning band. Music at Oak Hill is thriving and the children learn extensively about music all while having fun!
Kodaly is a very popular music teaching method used in elementary general music classes. If your student learns in school from a Kodaly teacher, I teach lessons using the same techniques and language to give your child consistency.
Jenny has been an excellent addition to the band staff at Westfield HS. She works mostly with our marching band and has a great understanding of our students and program needs.
My daughter has been taking lessons from Jenny for a couple of years now and we absolutely love her! She is very knowledgeable, encouraging, and fun! My daughter has learned so much!
