    About Jennifer F.

I have been a professional singer and actor for over 20 years. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Northern Kentucky University, specializing in classical voice. Upon college graduation I headed to Los Angeles to pursue my career. I signed with top talent agency Abrams Artists, and studied with legendary Hollywood acting coach Janet Alhanti. While I worked as a successful actor in Los Angeles for many years, I continued to study singing with amazingly gifted teachers, and shifted my focus to musical theatre, my truest joy! I enjoyed performing in cabaret clubs all around the city, and worked on sharpening my on-stage performance skills. In the summer of 2006 I booked my dream role, and headed off to Europe to play the lead role of Sandy in the International tour of GREASE the musical. In 2007 I relocated to beautiful Sonoma County wine country in Northern California. There, I began vocal coaching, and started my own voice studio, where I taught private voice lessons for 10 years. I also served as music director and vocal coach for The Healdsburg School, was head vocal coach for H-Town Youth Theatre and St. John’s Catholic School, and was the singing instructor for Julie Nation Modeling Academy. I signed with renowned talent agency Tonry Talent, in San Francisco, and I continue to have a fulfilling and successful career in singing, modeling, film, voiceover and stage. I currently serve as a performer and Associate Kids Camp Director for Transcendence Theatre Company’s Broadway Under the Stars Concert Series at Jack London State Park in Sonoma, CA. I am a proud member of SAG/Aftra and AEA. My fundamental singing philosophies have come to me through the years because of the brilliant teachers I have studied with, along with my own research and discoveries through my own singing and teaching. I feel that each person is gifted with their own unique voice, and my desire is to craft each lesson with students to help them learn how to use their own instrument to their highest ability. My teaching includes learning about breath management, vocal technique, healthy singing, vocal agility, increasing vocal range, and much more! I want each student to experience JOY with singing, and I strive to make my teaching environment supportive and nurturing in all ways. I look forward to helping you reach your highest potential as a singer!
