    About Jennifer B.

    Jennifer B is currently a harp director for Frisco ISD where she has been teaching for over 5 years. She earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree with a major in harp performance and minor in music education from the University of North Texas in 2020. Her doctoral work focuses on the great Jazz harpist Dorothy Ashby. Previous music degrees were earned from Vanderbilt University and the University of Sydney. Dr. B has performed in the most recent World Harp Congress in Hong Kong and has been selected to present her doctoral research at the upcoming World Harp Congress in Cardiff, Wales in the summer of 2022. She has performed in the Sydney Opera house and ABC center with the Sydney Sinfonia, improvised with jazz trio in the Brazilian Jazz harp immersion program, and performed as a concerto soloist with the Rome Festival Orchestra.
