The American Harp Society (AHS) is a non-profit organization whose mission is &quot;to promote and foster the appreciation of the harp as a musical instrument, to encourage the composition of music for the harp and to improve the quality of performance of harpists.

JEN was formed in 2008 to help bring together the jazz arts community. It hosts an annual conference with concerts presented by students and professionals, a student jazz festival, workshops, research presentations and an exhibition area with manufacturers, retailers, schools and other jazz related organizations. JEN also offers many educational programs, from an outreach program, to mentoring and scholarships.

Each student is an individual and will be treated with the same respect that is given. Short term and long term goals are set to help each student focus on their own skills, and the teacher's expectations are based on the student's willingness to work on their own time.

Jenna has been playing harp since 2001, and has been performing professionally since 2003. She received her BM in jazz studies at the University of Northern Colorado in 2015, and then received her Performance Certificate in Harp Performance at the University of Denver in 2016. She writes her own music and sings and tours with her own jazz trio. She also is the principal harpist for the Colorado Wind Ensemble, and has played for the Pueblo Symphony, the Denver Pops Orchestra, the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lamont Symphony Orchestra, and multiple chamber groups in the area.

Jenna is amazing with my son! He's 8 years old and looks forward to every lesson with her. She has the right way of balancing fun with learning, and she makes sure that he never loses interest. I'm so glad we found her.
