As a professional trombonist/tubist for over three decades, I have managed a large lesson studio and have sent many students to the nation's top tier music schools. I am often able to fix problems in embouchure formation and other issues regarding the fundamentals of brass playing.

Dr. Cortazzo is a phenomenal instructor. I have taken lessons for many years and he has enabled me to grow as a musician and perform/compete to my highest potential. Thank you so much!

I enjoyed my lesson with Jeffrey. There were no technical hiccups, and the connection/audio was fine for an online lesson. He didn't waste any time and quickly got to the meat of the issues that I have been having. We have a good plan underway to address those problems and I firmly believe that I will advance quickly and far under his tutelage.

Dr. Cortazzo is an amazing instructor and one of the best bass trombone instructors in the country. He taught my son bass trombone for 7 years. His expert knowledge of music theory, jazz and classical bass trombone repertoire are top notch. He has excellent contacts in the music industry from his many years of playing in the country's premiere jazz and classical groups. He knows how to motivate his students to do their best. He consistently challenged my son to audition and participate in the region's best music groups and win state and national competitions. With Dr. Cortazzo's guidance and encouragement, my son was able to get a music scholarship to attend a prestigious college and music school and follow his dreams to become a professional musician. I can't recommend Dr. Cortazzo enough!
