I started playing guitar in 1977 I played my first professional gig in 1986. I studied the GIT guitar method as taught by the musicians institute in Hollywood California. Since 1990 I have taught literally thousands of students. I have taught for some major music store chains, as well as in my own studio. I play and teach all styles from simple acoustic songs and strumming all the way up to extremely complicated rip roaring leads. From blues to rock, country,metal. You name it I can teach and play it. I have had extensive professional experience in the music industry, and I have played in front of thousands of people in all types of venues. No matter what your goal I can help you achieve it. Learning guitar takes patience, and you need to go slow. You can not go on to the next step, next note, next lick, until you have really learned the previous one. This is most peoples biggest mistake.
