Hello! My name is Jeanne and I am a pianist graduating this year from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. I am currently pursuing a post-graduate diploma in piano. Before that, I graduated from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, then pursued my Master's degree at the University of Montreal. Additionally, I earn a Master's degree in French Literature. I am an active pianist, chamber musician and teacher. I have played dozens of concerts in Europe, North America and Asia and I have participated and won several prizes in international and national piano competitions. I am the founder of the Ensemble Benzaiten, with whom I record an album dedicated to Franz Schubert and played at the national French radio France Musique. Alongside my studies, I taught piano lessons to many students, sharing the knowledge and passion I have for this instrument, always in a positive and friendly way. I have more than 10 years of teaching experience, in France, Canada and USA with young kids (starting 3yo) and adults. I am used to working with one or several children and can also teach chamber music and piano duets. Recently, I’ve been teaching online and I am now familiar with this technology. The well-being of my students in their music learning has been central in my teaching. I deeply care about developing accomplished musicians, regardless of the level, and always try to give my students solid technical skills as well as strong musical knowledge. In other words, I don’t only focus on the piano skills but try to give my students the curiosity and the passion I have for music with the aim to make them autonomous and proud of themselves. My teaching is very adaptable according to your needs: I can help you discover this instrument and give you the basics to have fun with it by yourself, but also help you preparing concerts and auditions. I deeply care about developing accomplished musicians, regardless your level, and will give you solid technical skills as well as strong musical knowledge. I can teach in English or in French.
