Jeanne Porcino Dolamore has been a string specialist for 30+ years. She received her Bachelor of Music from Crane School of Music, her MA from Long Island University, and her Doctorate from Concordia University Portland. Dr. Dolamore has actively taught strings, directed string ensembles, and performed violin in Colchester and Oxford, England, in New Jersey, Long Island, and in New York's Hudson Valley. Dr. Dolamore was the founder and artistic director of the Flying Fiddlers String Chorale and continues to lead seminars on “Strings and Community - The String Chorale Concept”. From being nominated teacher of the year in a large urban district - to touring Nova Scotia with a 'band' of classical and folk trained string students, Dr. Dolamore is recognized for her joyful approach to music making, her commitment to nurturing each students' unique gifts and her confidence that every one has a talent for music just waiting to be discovered!
