I have over 21 years of experience playing the guitar regularly (acoustic and electric), in and out of bands (just for fun!). I played for 4 years in the Bentley Jazz Band.

I am experienced with teaching beginners. I can teach beginner to advanced level rock/blues/jam and beginner to intermediate level jazz.

Learning a musical instrument is a journey of self-fulfillment, a new way of communicating and bonding with others, and heightens appreciation of music and life itself. I love opening that door for others and bringing them into the world of musicianship.

Jay is an extremely knowledgable guitarist and very patient teacher. He has taught me a variety of things such as open chords and even some full songs. He can shred too, so I am sure he can teach all levels - from beginner to advanced.
