I am a professional jazz pianist and composer. I attended the Florida State University studying jazz under some of the best jazz musicians in the world including Scotty Barnhart, director of the Count Basie Orchestra and Marcus Roberts, pianist for Wynton Marsalis. I have been playing music professionally since 2011 with my own bands and other groups including the Tallahassee Jazz Symphony Orchestra and a jazz trio here in New Orleans. I truly enjoy teaching anyone interested in learning more about jazz because playing jazz can truly help one grow in their musicianship. I also enjoy exploring more contemporary genres of music like Neo-Soul, R&B, and electronic music. I released a single on Spotify in 2016 called The First Breath and plan on releasing more music. Some of my biggest musical inspirations are Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, and Robert Glasper. I hope to reflect my musical influences and experiences on all of my students.
