Piano with Jasmine C.

Jasmine is a 23-year-old musician and performer based in Southern California. She began learning piano and accordion at the age of 6. Jasmine has performed in an accordion orchestra and accordion competitions, and currently plays in a European folk band. Between the ages of 14 and 20, she performed accordion with the Martin Music Center Accordion Orchestra at the White House and Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington D.C., Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Coupe Mondial in New Zealand, and TV stations such as KTLA. From 2000 to 2013, Jasmine competed in Accordion Federation of North America (AFNA) and American Accordionists’ Association. In 2008, Jasmine won the Princess category and ultimately won the Queen category award in 2009 for AFNA. Recently, she plays in the folk band, "Eva & the Vagabond Tales" and has performed on several radio stations such as NPR, KVCR, along with online radio shows and podcasts. Jasmine, along with the group, has also been featured three times on a radio variety show called "American Parlor Songbook". “Eva & the Vagabond Tales” performs for many special events, including Dreamworks Studios, along with performing at many festivals, universities, weddings, and music venues while traveling all over the West Coast. In addition to being a performer, she has taught children between the ages of 3 and 10 piano and origami. Jasmine is currently attending Fullerton College and is working towards her Piano Teaching Certificate, with the end goal of obtaining her degree in Piano Pedagogy.
