James (jimmynovacaine) is an experienced and accomplished musician that hails from around the world. James discovered his passion for music thirteen years ago after moving with his family to Singapore, South-East Asia where he experienced his first concert watching pop-punk groups Sum 41 and local band Pug Jelly. It was at that moment that James decided on the path he would take throughout his life. James later joined the pop-punk trio from Pug Jelly on a new venture that was named Saw Loser. It was with Pug Jelly and Saw Loser that he gained experience in touring and performing all over the eastern hemisphere in countries such as: Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia to name a few. Through the band's success John was able to play and work with renowned bands and artists like Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Sum 41, as well as, many more through large-scale, international festivals known as Sing Fest (Singapore), Pattaya International Music Festival (Thailand), Good Vibrations Festival (Singapore/Australia), Pop Carnival (Japan), and Soundrenaline (Indonesia). Upon Saw Loser's independent success, John and the band landed record deals through major record label: Universal Music and independent record label: In and Out records (Japan). The band quickly gained traction in the media with newspapers all over the eastern hemisphere with Singaporean zines: Lime Magazine and Teenage Magazine, Japanese rock zine: INROCK, and television channels: MTv Asia, and RAGE TV (Australia). In the midst of the band's momentum, John gained world-class endorsements with companies like ESP Guitars and Sennheiser. Both companies grew Saw Loser and John's popularity through rapid marketing on public transportation and artist profiles on their international websites, as well as through artist clinics with ESP endorsed artist Kiko Loureiro in Singapore. During the bands preproduction phase of their sophomore album to be recorded in Ft. Collins, Colorado at the Blasting Room Studios with Bill Stevenson (Black Flag, The Descendents, and The Lemonheads), Saw Loser went on hiatus. All plans for travels to the United States to play at the world famous Whisky A Go Go, along with other venues on the way to record in Colorado, were cancelled. Saw Loser would never play in North America, but John would. During his own personal three year hiatus from performance, John moved back to Texas and enrolled in Berkleemusic (Berklee College of Music online school) to gain master certification in Theory, Harmony, and Ear Training while simultaneously attending the Steinway Music School at Midland College to earn his degree in performing arts. Towards the end of his final semester, John met a former drummer of Here Lies the Hero that would introduce John to his new band mates and partners in an excIting career. With Here Lies the Hero, John has so far performed with the likes of From First to Last, Dayshell, We Came As Romans, He is Legend, Of Mice & Men, August Burns Red, Trivium, A Lot Like Birds, Norma Jean, For the Fallen Dreams, Jamie's Elsewhere, Divided By Friday, Greeley Estates, Letlive, Secrets, and many more. The bands epic performances with Tuppen secured him with his long desired endorsement with favored guitar company, Ernie Ball Music Man and cable company, Intex Cables. As the band rapidly grew, John moved the project to the heart of the music industry in Los Angeles, California - perhaps where he was destined to be all along - where he resides today instructing up and coming artists, producing refreshing new projects, and performing around the country.

I really appreciate James' patience and persistence. it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks. James is a very talented young man with an outgoing personality, he is obviously comfortable with people and has a great knowledge and understanding of music. I would recommend him without a doubt.
