Vocal Training with Jake T.

Jake T earned his Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Long Beach in 2014. While studying there, he sang Bass 2 in the Chamber Choir. During his four years at CSULB, he studied classical voice under Dr. Steven Kronauer, and was awarded an Outstanding Vocalist award upon graduating. In addition to his classical and jazz experience, Jake also joined the 2 time International Champion Barbershop Chorus and 2009 Pavarotti Trophy Winners, The Westminster Chorus, where he currently serves as the assistant Bass Section Leader. Jake is also the bass of the renowned barbershop quartet, The Newfangled Four, traveling around the world to perform for audiences of all ages and walks of life. He also occasionally does session work, singing nursery rhymes and doing voice-over for a popular YouTube channel, Cocomelon. Jake resides in Long Beach, and currently sings at St. Boniface Catholic Church, as well as with the a cappella group, Westbeat. He loves jogging, biking, cooking, meditating, and general frivolity.
