I am a professional guitarist and instructor with a passion for both performing and teaching!

I create custom plans and practice routines based on each student's needs. Students can expect to make progress weekly while having fun in the process! I teach all levels from beginner to advanced. I teach many styles as well but specialize in jazz, blues, and rock. Not sure what direction you want to go in? No problem! I always help my students build a strong foundation that facilitates freedom to go in multiple directions!

I attended Dillard Center for the Arts and was a member of the touring jazz ensemble under the direction of Christopher Dorsey where I had the opportunity to learn from and perform with jazz masters such as drum legend Louis Hayes. I was awarded Outstanding Guitar Player by Wynton Marsalis at the prestigious Essentially Ellington competition held at Rose Theater at Lincoln Center in NYC. I have also attended workshops with world renowned musicians at institutions such as Stanford University, Michigan State University, and others. I currently teach and perform with my rock and roll fusion band.
