Singing with Jacki M.

After just my first lesson I have already learned things (warm ups, proper stance, proper breathing, etc.) that will better my singing and will be an integral part of how I execute during performances. I look forward to learning much more and definitely recommend Jacki as a voice instructor for any and all.

She is a great teacher. I love how she’s open to anything, and how she teaches really helps in the long run. She helps you understand certain things, and even if your not experienced in music, she makes it easy to understand those things.

Mrs. Miller was so awesome to work with, and I see my time with her as pivotal to where I am now. I worked on a range or music from pop, to classical, to Musical Theatre, while I was with her and enjoyed every second. Not only did she work on my singing and vocal technique, but she work on performing as well, we work on the portrayal of emotion and character and how to bring it all together in the best way for the audience. One of my favourite things about Mrs. Miller is that she absolutely knew what she was talking about and if she ever encounter something she didn't know, she made it her mission to figure it out whether is was how to play the piano part in the music or the pronunciation of a foreign language I was singing in. Another awesome word I'd use to characterise Mrs. Miller is efficient, she understands that time in lessons is limited and remains focused on the task at hand while knowing that stopping at some point may be necessary for growth and to fix problems. Overall I would say that Mrs. Miller is one of the finest voice instructors I've worked with!!
