I am a classically trained pianist actively performing in US and Europe. I have PhD in Piano Performance and 20 years of experience working with piano students of all ages in both online and in person settings. I have taught both in US and Europe, in college settings such as University of Southern California and California State University Los Angeles as well as in young beginners teaching environments such as Pasadena Music Conservatory and my own studio. My students have gone to play many concerts, competitions, auditions and Certificate of Merit exams. Teaching and spreading love for music is my life. I especially enjoy teaching beginners, both kids and adults. I take a collaborative, student-centered approach to lessons by customizing instructions to students’ individual goals and interests. I encourage the development of well-rounded musicians by fostering not only the highest quality of performance but also discussing historical and cultural context of the music performed. I love celebrating my students’ accomplishments and sharing the joy of music with others! I especially enjoy taking first steps with beginning piano students, both kids and adults!
